Federations allocate $70 million to 45 groups for Israel Emergency

In less than two weeks, Jewish Federations have raised over $388 million and as of October 19th allocated $70 million to 45 nonprofit organizations and groups providing urgent and immediate care on the ground in Israel.

The donations are part of a $500 million campaign following Hamas's barbaric and brutal terrorist attack on Israel, which claimed over 1,300 lives and created an unprecedented hostage crisis.

You can donate at jfeds.org/SupportIsrael, or find your local Federation here.

Partner organizations include the Jewish Agency for Israel, JDC, World ORT, Israel Trauma Coalition, United Hatzalah, Magen David Adom, ZAKA, Chabad, and over a dozen hospitals and medical organizations.

We are supporting communities under fire and helping people living in shelters or hospitals because of their evacuation from the battle fronts. We are supporting frontline communities, the Fund for Victims of Terror, trauma relief, medical equipment, support for first responders and volunteer efforts.

They are helping populations with additional needs such as the elderly and their caregivers, those with mental impairments, children at risk, Amharic-speakers, Lone soldiers, and Arab, Bedouin and Haredi groups.

In addition, Federations are working to mobilize every community to support Israel, holding over 120 community events, drawing hundreds of thousands of supporters, and asking leading political and civic leaders for their support.
