By popular demand, we will be holding our Investment Institute from March 24-26, 2020 at the PGA Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This event started almost 18 years ago, and usually takes place every other year bringing together some 300-350 endowment and community foundation investment chairs, trustees and professional staff. We usually cover at least four tracks: investments, economics, strategic governance and philanthropy. Going forward from our last event we are looking to collaborate with the Jewish Funders Network Annual Conference, which will be held right before the Investment Institute on March 22-24, 2020. We hope to bring their finance and family office professionals to the Institute making this an annual event while adding a more meaningful and dynamic perspective to how we invest and create impact for both our public and private foundations.
The Jewish Federations of North America is the umbrella organization representing 145 Jewish Federations and 300 network communities that collect and distribute more than $3 billion annually for social welfare, social services and educational needs. This is achieved through our $21 billion assets under management in collective endowment and donor advised funds in our Federation system. The Jewish Funders Network is also a membership organization, with some 2,000 members made up of a diverse community of independent funders, foundations and grant-making professionals involved in philanthropy, representing another $80 billion in additional Jewish philanthropic wealth that needs to be stewarded by firms such as yours that can offer resources and guidance.
So come and join influential stakeholders from Federations and private foundations—representing collectively over $100 billion in Jewish communal philanthropic assets—for informative presentations by top industry professionals, informal peer-to-peer learning, and networking. Enhance your ability to make prudent investment decisions and position your Jewish Federation, community or private foundation as the preeminent steward of endowed funds.
